Auckland police have arrested two men after a car chase across the city on Wednesday night.
A vehicle failed to stop for officers after speeding on Auckland's Southern motorway, around 8.20pm.
Police tracked the vehicle to Henderson in West Auckland where it was dumped as three men fled on foot.
Two of them, aged 30 and 59, were located in a residential property, and with the help of police dogs were taken into custody.
A loaded shotgun, ammunition, and illegal drugs were also recovered.
The pair face multiple firearms charges, theft, driving and bail breach offences, and are expected to appear in Waitākere District Court today.
