Formative musical experience: It was dance first for me. Then singing, and choirs. I auditioned at my school but only got in to the ‘fun choir’. I ended up moving schools and the only band that was looking for a member was the jazz band so I fudged my way through that for a bit. All the while I was writing my own songs, but not quite sure what to do with them.
