We have a winner in this year's Supreme Pie Awards.
Auckland baker Sopheap Long of Euro Patisserie in Torbay last night took out the 24th Bakels NZ Supreme Pie Award with what's described as a seriously good steak and cheese pie.
It must have been seriously good to convince celebrity chef and judge, Peter Gordon, who had said he was looking for a winning pie fit to serve The Queen.
