The government will trial a new self-isolation trial scheme later this year.
The trial will allow 150 business travellers to skip MIQ and instead isolate at home.
It's being seen as a circuit breaker by pharmaceutical company AFT Pharma chief executive Dr Hartley Atkinson, and healthcare software company Orion Health chief executive Ian McRae.
