National Party leader Christopher Luxon has been getting stuck in helping with the clean up from the Auckland floods.
In recent days he's visisted the emergency centres in Kelston and Sunnynook, a kura in Mangere East, and has been pictured helping to rip up carpet in a flooded home.
Luxon was one of many calling for Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown to declare a State of Emergency on Friday night.
He spoke to Corin Dann.
