A person has serious injuries following an assault in Auckland's Papakura.
Police said officers were called to the incident on Subway Road shortly before 8pm on Sunday.
The person's injuries were consistent with stab wounds, police said.
A scene examination has taken place overnight and police said they were working to find those responsible.
