Iwi health providers in Northland are in favour of keeping the top of the country at red on the Covid-19 traffic light, until double-vaccination rates hit 90 percent.
The entire country will be at orange settings come 30 December - except for Te Tai Tokerau.
It's the least vaccinated region in the country, with more than 14,510 people still needed to reach the 90 percent fully vaccinated figure.
