The Director of the Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture says he hopes the event fosters bonds between Pacific States and inspires future generations to make an impact on mitigating climate change.
During the closing ceremony delegations from 25 nations and thousands of people packed the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
A standing ovation and special acknowledgement was also made to West Papua, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
The 10-day event wraps up Pacific Island nations showcasing their rich heritage and artistic talents.
